MacDonald-Homes is a family run business that is committed to making a more inclusive Austin by providing affordable housing for families in need of a place to call home. We work closing with local housing associations to make a better community and the process as smooth and as straight forward as possible.

We have been offering homes based in Austin and the surrounding areas since 2015 and have assisted hundreds of families in their quest to find their next rental home. We have a portfolio of homes well cared for that we would love to discuss with you.

MacDonald-Homes is a family run business consisting of myself (Scott MacDonald) and my wife Hailey and our two children. Family and ethics are central to everything we do and we want to treat you as family through this process. When we moved to the Austin Area we fell in love with the City instantly.

When we are not assisting families with their properties in the area you can often find me helping out with our family vegetable garden or feeding our chickens. For the right deal I could even see if they would part with some of their eggs for you! On top of this I volunteer with my local Fire Department which allows me to give back to our community. There is no better feeling than helping those in need and I run on the adrenaline from these responsibilities.

If not then we will field your request with local landlords we work with to find a suitable location. You can expect the following steps through this process:

Step 1 – Fill out the form below to be considered for one of our homes by providing basic information about yourself and anyone who will be living at the property with you.

Step 2 – We will review your needs and look to match you with an available property. We will then reach out to schedule a viewing of the proposed property.

Step 3 – If you like the property we will send you a link to make the application online which will be reviewed quickly. If successful we will send a lease to be signed digitally and make arrangements for you to move into your new home.
